Indian Bravehearts is a not-for-profit social organization (NGO) registered under The Indian Trusts Act 1882; and a proud initiative of an Army officer. We envision the ‘welfare, rehabilitation and well being’ of the Indian Bravehearts fraternity (all armed forces personnel under Min of Defence and Min of Home Affairs), both serving and retired, including the veterans, battle casualties, war widows, orphans and their families. Through this platform, our endeavour will be to create awareness in the society about their specific issues & problems, and garner support from all quarters for an inclusive growth in the society, alleviation of their problems; and also coordinating & synergizing all the humanitarian efforts for this community from different organizations (both governmental and humanitarian) as well as philanthropic individuals.
While we are focused towards their ‘welfare, rehabilitation and well being’, we urge the society to be sensitive to their problems and come forward to support them, assist them, and care for them. This reminds me of an adage, ‘When you go home tell them of us and say, “For your tomorrow we gave our today.” It is now that they require your support to live their today.
I would also like to share a thought, “Let’s remember and salute those bravehearts who laid down their lives in the line of duty, and respect those who are deployed for the defense of their motherland; as these are a class of extraordinary men and women for whom the country comes first, always & every time.”
